Stampede is over for another year and Calgarians start the process of getting back to real life and enjoying the summer. We got out of town for Stampede and just got back from a road trip out to our families cabin. I’m working on a post about our experience road tripping with a toddler and how you can learn from our many mistakes lol. Until then I wanted to put out a music Monday post for a song that we literally JUST heard – Twenty One Pilots – Jumpsuit.

Clara loves the chorus on this song. The more music we listen to the more I’m coming to realize that songs with simple drum beats will get her clapping and shaking her booty (which is adorable). Songs with more complex beats – for example a lot of the metal songs I listen to – get her to head bang. Which I’m still amazed she does because I did not teach her too, she just started parroting what Dad does and I love it.
She started to lose interest in the bridge part, but that’s ok cause I loved it and it ramps back up for a dramatic finish.
I didn’t understand the video. I often feel like there’s deep meanings to videos that I don’t understand or perhaps I’m seeing but aren’t there, but in this case it turns out that Twenty One Pilots have created a whole back story to go along with their albums.
