Manday Grooming review

Get Valentines Day ready with ManDay Grooming

Every guy wants to look good, but as a stay-at-home Dad my effort to make myself look presentable could best be described as lacking.

I was introduced to ManDay Grooming over a year ago when my wife bought me some of their Beard Sauce to help combat the dry weather we’re cursed with in Calgary. I was immediately a fan (so much so that I included them in my Holiday Gift Guide) and was thrilled when they reached out to me to see if I’d like to review their products.

The review is below, along with my FIRST ever video (please be gentle with the comments lol). I’m also giving away all of the products reviewed here just in time for Valentines day! Click here to enter!

ManDay Grooming in their own words

We love hemp, that’s why we use it in all of our products. We use organically-grown unrefined hemp seed oil, full spectrum ground hemp, and full spectrum hemp extract to infuse our products with fatty acids, vitamins, phytontutrients, cannabinoids, and terpenoids to benefit your hair and skin. Our choice is X-59 hemp grown in southern Saskatchewan because it is non-GMO, ultra-low THC content, and known for its superb nutrient density.

We hand make Manday products in small batches in Calgary, AB with love, care, and creativity. Every aspect of the brand and product has been developed by us, from the formulas and process to make each product to the design on the labels and the website.

The Review

ManDay Grooming sent over samples of their Beard Sauce, Mane Tamer, Soap and Matte Clay.

Manday Grooming

I am a big fan of the soap. It comes in three smells – Lemon Haze, The Wild and C4. So far I’ve tried out the C4 and loved the smell. It has a real “manly” quality to it – which I talk about in my video.

When my beard was longer I quite liked the Beard Sauce. It made my beard less itchy and moisturized my skin. That being said since I’ve started keeping my beard shorter I found the Beard Sauce and Mane Tamer to be a bit too much for me.

I am also a big fan of the Matte Clay. While priced slightly higher than what you may find at a grocery store, it is far superior and is, in fact, my new go-to hair clay. Infused with bay rum, grapefruit, peppermint and vanilla, it has a pleasing smell and is easy to manipulate again and again throughout the day. Also, unlike most grocery store hair gels, it doesn’t leave your hair flaky and gross the next day.
