It’s a quiet moment in the Dashing family home so I wanted to take a moment to talk to all of you.
It’s become increasingly clear as I try to take pictures of our family that we can no longer keep this a secret, so I am SUPER excited to announce that things are changing and we are expecting a little boy to join our family this July!
This means big changes for the Dashing family. Clara is really excited for the “baby…..awwwww…..cccuuuuute!” But we’ll see if that excitement remains after he sticks around for a few weeks.
This also means that Dashing Mom will be heading on mat leave and since she will be around to watch Clara more, we’ve decided I will increase my workload as a freelance writer. I have been fortunate to find clients that are happy to accommodate that request. I’m incredibly lucky that I will still be able to be at home as much as I’d like, and in that way still remain a stay-at-home dad….just one with more responsibilities.
It’s an exciting time for our little family and as I sit here thinking about the year to come I feel nothing but gratitude and love.
