New Look, Same Me: From Dashing Dad to Matt Beauchamp

As the seasons change and the kids head back to school, I find myself at a crossroads, ready to embrace a new chapter in my life and online presence. I'm excited to announce a significant transformation: Dashing Dad is evolving into Matt Beauchamp. This rebrand marks a shift from solely focusing on fatherhood to showcasing the many facets of my life and passions.

Why the Rebrand?

Being a father is an integral part of who I am, and Dashing Dad has allowed me to share my parenting journey with a wonderful community. However, as my children grow and become more independent, I have the opportunity to explore and share other aspects of my life. The decision to transition to Matt Beauchamp reflects my desire to present a more comprehensive view of who I am – not just as a dad, but as a creator, writer, model, and community advocate.

Dashing Dad is not completely going away, but it will be taking a secondary role in my branding.

More Than a Dad

Fatherhood will always be a cornerstone of my identity, but there is so much more that I am passionate about and eager to share. With the rebrand, you'll see a broader range of content, including:

1. Creative Pursuits: As a writer and creator, I'm constantly inspired by the world around me. I love crafting stories, exploring new ideas, and pushing the boundaries of creativity. Expect to see more of my writing.

2. Community Connection: Being an active member of my community in Calgary, is incredibly important to me. Whether I'm playing sports, strumming my guitar, or participating in local events, I'll be sharing more about my experiences and how they shape my perspective.

3. Health and Advocacy: Navigating life with Type 1 Diabetes, ADHD, and depression has its challenges, but it has also given me a unique platform to advocate for mental health awareness. I’m committed to sharing my journey and offering support to others who may be facing similar struggles.

4. Parenting Journey: While the focus is expanding, my role as a father remains central. I'll continue to share insights, tips, and stories about the highs and lows of parenting because being a dad is an ongoing adventure.

   
   

Introducing Dashing Dad After Dark

One of the exciting elements of this rebrand is the continuation and growth of "Dashing Dad After Dark" (DDAD). This special segment, hosted every other weekend, invites people to share their life experiences with me anonymously. Whether celebrating personal victories or navigating challenges, DDAD is a safe and supportive space for openness and vulnerability. Through these stories, we foster a community of mutual support and understanding, highlighting the shared human experience. DDAD now has its own home on my website and I have introduced a new blog segment centered around DDAD where I can dive further into topics and explore some of the conversations that occur in my dms.

This rebrand is all about embracing the multifaceted nature of who I am and sharing more diverse content with you. From engaging stories and innovative ideas to personal growth and mental health advocacy, it means a lot to me that you’re along the journey with me.
